Join the SimGurus and Game Changers across the week as they stream a The Sims 4 series. You can see the schedule below and can watch on Twitch.tv.
In a time when we need to stay physically apart, it is more important than ever to nurture connections with each other as a community and as friends. All of us on The Sims™ 4 team want to help build those bonds and make sure everyone is entertained. SimGuruDuke’s last post mentioned that we had a few things in store, and now we have details! If you’ve been looking for a way to Stay Home and Play Together, we’re excited to announce some fun new stuff to look out for.
In the last few weeks, we’ve partnered up with some of our international Sims creators to put together a schedule of some fun and exciting streams on The Sims Twitch channel. Viewers and streamers alike tuned in to play together in a new way, and now we’ve decided to get in on the fun with you, our players!
Starting today, you’re invited to join us for a new series going live on our Twitch channel featuring the SimGurus themselves and our Game Changers! We’re coming together as one team to tell a collective story as we stream The Sims 4 individually. Each participant will play an essential role in creating an overarching story with their own unique choices and actions, guiding the narrative while leaving room for everyone to switch it up when it’s their turn!
The narratives start with the location where the events take place. Builders can get as simple or as creative as they like, showing off their skills and setting up the wildest event space for the coming story. Our next streamer will add all the characters at that point. The CAS expert populates the story with everyone from bizarre Sims to unique hero characters. Then, the next player takes over in live mode and we’re off to the races (or, specifically this week, the House Party!).
In addition, the audience (you!) will be able to help guide our stories with suggestions by using the live chat feature. Check out the schedule, follow along with the #SimTogether hashtag on Twitter, and make sure you tune in so you don’t miss anything. (We’ll also be giving out some game codes during the streams!)
In the face of our current challenges, we must remember that we’re all in this together. That’s why we’re creating new ways for you to connect and maintain a sense of community with fun and exciting content for everyone to enjoy. As ever, we’re here for you and with you, and we’re so grateful for that.
Stay with us as we continue to come up with new ways to be together, and in the meantime, you can always visit The Sims Forums, catch up with us on Twitter and Instagram, like us on Facebook, subscribe to our YouTube channel, and sign up for The Sims 4 newsletter to keep up with your fellow players and get all the latest news about The Sims 4!
